2 observations from Villa game:

1. Carragher at fault again. He's always at fault when Liverpool concede. And I'm keeping a record of it now. So games = 1, royal goal-conceding mistakes = 1.

2. Never in a million years was that a freekick against Petrov. I didnt even see him winning the ball first time round and STILL didn't think it was a freekick. Gerrard has a knack for winning freekicks, whether that be diving or just running straight into a stationary defender the moans his bollox out to the ref. Then we see that Pretrov actually WON the ball and we realise the ref fagged out and gave in just because he gave the Villa a penalty up the other end. W**k.

Obstruction your honour. Defo a free kick and a great free kick as well

Villa were s**te and didn't deserve anything from that game. They were awful.

I hope they do put something into the new stadium as these are all people who should never be forgotten. Anyone who goes to watch a football match should come back home again afterwards. They will never be forgotten by Liverpool FC

I know Derby are a s**t team but 6-0!! It could have been double easily as we missed a bag full of chances. Awesome pass and move. I thought I had gone back to the 80s teams!

I think we have a really good spine to the side of some of the best young players in Europe now with Agger, Mascherano, Babel and Torres.

Also, lets keep our feet on the ground, its a good start but its a long season, Ill be happy as long as we are making progress.

I think Liverpool took advantage of a crap Derby side, but fair play to them they took their chances and really pressed the game where other teams might have sat back.

It's when they need to grind results out especially when they play tough sides away from home that has always been Liverpool's weakness in the league. Their squad looks well equipped and I think they should have a good season.

Liverpool 8 - 0 Besiktas

Well - I was there and we were awesome. They were s**te mind you but we were awesome. We played well but when Kewell came on it completely changed our attacking options - finally a wide player who wants to run and take on players!

Babel looked great when he was played down the middle as well. Great atmosphere. Fair play to the Besiktas fans - they were still singing and enjoying themselves even when they went 8 goals down. Fair play - they earned my respect.

Come on the mighty reds - our slump is over! We played the giraffe up front and we looked good
