Read the Forum Rules
The most important rule to respect when posting here is that all talk of warez, piracy and anything which promotes ripping off Konami will not be tolerated. If you do plan to mod your console and play patched games we stress you must own the original. Disobeying this rule can result in an immediate ban!
Be respectful of other people when posting on the message board. Avoid personal attacks, debate opinions, not the people behind them. This includes posting images as a representation of your attack.
Do not impersonate another member of the message board.
Please try to use good English when posting for example 'u' does not equal you!
All images on display within posts including signature images must be kept to a maximum width of 730 pixels. This is for two reasons, the first is that anything above that resolution will distort the forum look. Secondly for the sake of those who use 56k connection speeds and would rather read the topic than wait for your huge image of Thierry Henry to load! Any images in breach of that rule will be removed!
Hundreds of users read the message board on a daily basis. Please have something useful to say and don't spam the forum with small replies/threads just to get your post count up. For example messages such as "FiFA SucKz!" Will not be tolerated, please make intelligent posts which serve a purpose.
Try your hardest to post in the correct forum. Don't be upset if we move your post to a more appropriate forum. If we happen to move a post, don't start a new thread asking where it's gone instead contact a moderator.
Promotion of sites or products is not permitted. A link to a site in your signature is fine within reason. Do not post links to pornographic or other inappropriate sites.
The Moderators at ISS Extreme have a monumental task watching these forums. Due to the vast number of members and the large number of posts per day, we sometimes do not manage to immediately catch all rule violations. Please try and avoid taking matters into your own hands when you see someone violating any of the rules. We would respectfully request you simply email us at goku@issextreme.com and we will take appropriate action.
Disciplinary Procedures
Individuals who violate the above rules will be subject to disciplinary procedures these take the form of 'Warn Levels' which can be seen in your profiles and underneath your avatars in forum threads.
There are 10 warning levels in total and the guide below will let you know where you stand should you be subject to disciplinary procedures:
Warn Level 1 - 4 - Nothing
You behaviour in certain areas has been lacking and a moderator has noted this and warned you.
Warn Levels 5 - 8 - Yellow Card
If a user receives a yellow card for whatever reasons it will be for a week. Any further rule violation while on a yellow will result in a gag. It is your responsibility to contact us when your weeks ban is up and we will review the situation.
Warn Level 9 - Gagged
If a user is gagged then they will have all their posts moderated before they go into general circulation within the forum, there is no time scale on this and you will need to demonstrate good behaviour to be allowed back into the fold.
Warn Level 10 - Red Card
If a user receives a red card then your participation in this forum is over!
The equation is simple if you follow the forum rules to the letter then you shouldn't need to concern yourself with all this. However if you break the rules and find yourself with various warnings just remember that good behaviour will result in your 'Warn Levels' being reduced.
We reserve the right to change any of these rules without notice.
