It's funny how things turn out. Well I am happy to report the change of fortunes for the forum, it has been the most active it has been for quite a while.

Just to give you an idea of how the number of posts have changed since Millsey's Pledge idea...

Jan - 155
Feb - 192
Mar - 118 (lowest this year)
Apr - 264 (Millsey Pledge month)
May - 540 (woho)
Jun - 340 (so far)

Just a small update of things going on

PES6 Online League - Is currently open for applicants, you do not need to be a member (although that does help). If you are looking to join in the league you can PM me or e-mail mikeom1 at hotmail dot com (subject PES6 online league). You must have PES6 PC or PS2.

Football Talk - The Football Talk section is red hot at the moment, feel free to join in our many debates from various clubs, transfer speculation to our very own David Beckham Appreciation Thread

Keep up the good work guys, happy posting :)

Hi everyone,

Just bring everyone's attention to the latest things happening on Issextreme...

Millsey has contributed a great idea, a Pledge that all existing members have made to encourage more posting. Details can be found (HERE)

Due to the massive amount of spam accounts created on a daily basis registration to the site has been closed. If you are not a member and wish to become one you can e-mail me <my username>@hotmail.com and I will make an account for you. Details HERE

We would also like to welcome back long time member TheMac (now ReturnofTheMac), after many weeks of negotiations we managed to reach and agreement and we are happy to have him back. The official welcome back thread can be found... HERE

We also have a Brand Spanking New Competition starting up, "Name The Footballer". The general idea is to name a famous football based on a number of pictures. More details can be found... HERE

Stay tuned for the latest news :)

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd give you all updates on the latest goings on...

Firstly I would like to thank Goku for making the forums changes, we have all seen (or rather haven't seen ;)) the amount of spam has dropped considerable.

Issextreme Summer Albums - some collections of tracks from board members, made to celebrate the finer things this summer. Both CDs are a mix of some great tracks to help you through what remains of summer.

Get To Know The Members (of Issextreme) has been created as a way to find out things about others on the board, just a bit of fun and who knows you might find out something you never knew. Check it out in Off Topic

Extreme World Cup - Has finally reached an end which sees Millsey's organised Germany take on Marko's lacklustre Brazil. Stay tuned with the result out at the end of the week.

World Cup Babes - Have also reached a climax where we see Sweden's own Elin Grindemyr go head to head against USA's Jessica Alba in a very tasty final to say the least ;) Don't forget polls close 2 weeks from today, so get yours in now!

Season 06/07 Predictions - Millsey has kindly organised the weekly Predictions competition, for details see the thread.

Premiership Predictions (Deadline - 15.09.06) - Millsey also has organised a Premiership predictions thread where members predict the exact order in which all 20 teams will finish the season. For more details see the thread, and if you predict Watford in the bottom 3 I will suspend you... only kidding I'll ban you ;)

Who will win the Champions League? - TheMac has also started a thread to find out who everyone has their money on in this years Champions League competition. Cast your vote and share your opinion above.

Forum Change

To stop the spammers we've changed the forum procedure a little bit for new members...

New members will have their first three posts moderated, if these check out then we'll let you post away to your hearts content, unmoderated. This change unfortuantly is due to some very sad people who have to register at forums and create stupid spam posts! (Seriously who clicks in the links these idiotic people put up anyway?)

If you know a spammer, give them a slap and remind them of their stupid ways!

With the World Cup quickly approaching we decided to have a few Competitions. As some of you may have noticed there is a new forum, which can be found in under the general section... Here

The Extreme Fantasy World Cup 2006 Competition
Allows members to "manage" on of the 32 teams in the WC2k6, they can decide on strategies and team selection. Run in a similar fashion to the Extreme League.

World Cup Babes Competition
As well as the WC Comp, we will have the traditional World Cup babes competition, where 32 lovely ladies are selected to represent each country in one major eye candy competition. The competition should start shortly, so watch this space ;)

Atletico Extreme
On a side note Daremz has also started a dream team type team made up of members of the forum, you can check it out Here! I think there are 5 places left, so if you want to be part of Atletico Extreme get you details down quick!

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 to debut at E3

Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will debut at E3 - the first time in the series' history it will have done so.

Creator Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka remains at the helm, and will be visiting E3 with the game to promote it. "This marks my first trip to E3 and I am greatly looking forward to this chance to expand the game’s amazing popularity to a wider, global level," he says.

Konami's keeping quiet for now about what's changed in PES6 - which is likely to appear on PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC and PSP - but has said to expect new moves, licensed clubs and gameplay modes, some of which will be unveiled during the show, which takes place between May 10th and 12th. A PlayStation 3 unveiling wouldn't be totally unbelievable either.

Incidentally, Konami may not be saying much about PES6 specifically, but it's a safe bet that many of the features touted in the Japanese Winning Eleven 10 title - released this week - will make it in.

This year's Winning Eleven is coming out a bit earlier than usual, Konami's announced, so that everyone will have it in time for the World Cup.

Reports based on a Famitsu preview and an unveiling event earlier today also identify some of the changes fans of the series - known as Pro Evolution Soccer in the west - can expect from the game, which is being released on PS2 in Japan on 27th April.

Sorry for the downtime folks... I tried to upgrade the forum software and because I forgot to correctly CHMOD two folders things went very pear shaped and I had to restore everything to a backup I had made. This took an age to do and that's why you've not been able to access the site over the last week. You will notice however all is new now, I've upgraded the forums to the latest shiny version and things are running just fine, thank god!

Enjoy it, I'm off to a Mexican restaurant to drink beer & tequila and eat nice food!

PES5 Option File

Right folks, first news in a while but seeing as the forums are enjoying a slight revival, Phil thought this would be a good thing to throw out to you!

It's an option file for PES5 on the PS2, It was made by EVH5150. Before you use it please read the disclaimer below!

This Option File has been edited from the PESFan v2 release, and edited with the help of www.footballtransfers.co.uk This does not mean that the file does not contain flaws. For example, players loaned to a team that are not in the game have been kept at their regular clubs. ie. Liam Miller remains at Manchester United, as Leeds United are unavailable. Inevitably, there will also be errors, which should be posted for correction. The author has also removed PES United & WE United to create European & World All-Star teams, from Master League players who were already written into the game. These players are not base copies.

If you're reading this from the front page of the main site, you will need to click here or on View Comments to see the attached file.
